My name is Edward. I am an multi award winning specialist sport and fashion photographer from Brighton, East Sussex with a relaxed, friendly approach. I am highly skilled in stylish portraits, fashion, sports, events, editorial, retail and commercial photography, mainly around the South East of England and London. I have won gold awards for my photography skills in sport and fashion portraits by both peers and organisations in the UK. I have had my work featured and published in several newspaper publications (including full back pages), online and magazines. I am a freelance agency sports photographer but also do several private projects each year directly with sports organisations, teams, companies and academies. I benefit from being able to read and anticipate the action of many sports very well since I used to play at a fairly high level. I have a small home photography studio in Hove nr. Brighton East Sussex with a full range of lighting equipment, modifiers and backdrops. I am fully skilled in studio lighting techniques.
I have a passion for taking photographs and constantly learning new techniques and skills in the field. Having worked for a range of diverse and prestigious clients, I have a keen eye for the fine details as well as the bigger picture. I will make sure to cover every angle to exceed a clients requirements and offer a dedicated professional service. A high attention to detail enables me to capture a wide range of beautiful portraits or the raw emotions of athletes in sport.
I am highly creative with a Diploma and a 2:1 Bachelor of Arts Degree. I have a vast array of technical knowledge and skills gained throughout my life and benefit from a solid, well-rounded skill set, needed in today's ever changing digitally oriented photographic profession. I also have a background in marketing and digital marketing, which compliments my service offerings to business clients. I am technically proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Lightroom and Photo Mechanic. I offer full post-editing on all my services. I am also extremely competent in software architecture and Information Systems, so a useful asset to any team projects.
